Andrew

Andrew is an actor, songwriter, director, and broadcaster who can’t really pick a lane. He’s acted on stages across Canada and in a bunch of TV shows and films. He's been Artistic Director of 2 theatre companies, and ran a storefront theatre space in Toronto’s East End for 3 years. He’s directed small scale immersive theatre, large scale touring shows, and blockbuster video game cinematics, working with the likes of Jay Baruchel, Annie Murphy, Nathan Lane, Noah Reid, and Brian Dennehy. He spent 5 years at the Stratford Theatre Festival, where he acted, directed, and produced a concert series for 5 years. He hosts an interview podcast called When We Wake with Andrew Shaver. When We Wake was Runner Up for Best Variety Program at the 2024 NCRA CRABO Awards. He released his second album as Clever Hopes in May 2024. He’s voiced hundreds of commercials and is currently the voice of Rona. Somewhere along the line, he spent 2 years at a clown school in Paris. Radio was his first love.
